Automation

Scheduled Audits

Set up automatic recurring audits to monitor your AURA score over time without manual effort.

Overview

What are Scheduled Audits?

Scheduled audits automatically re-run your AURA audit on a regular basis. This lets you track how your score changes over time as you implement improvements or as your site evolves. Instead of remembering to manually re-audit, the system handles it for you and notifies you when results are ready.

Setup

Setting Up a Schedule

Enabling scheduled audits takes just a few clicks:

1
Open the Scheduled section
Go to your Dashboard and click the Scheduled tab in the left sidebar to access the scheduling panel.
2
Add a new schedule
Enter the URL you want to monitor and choose a day of the month (1-28) for the audit to run automatically each month.
3
Confirm your schedule
Save the schedule. The audit will run automatically on the selected day each month, and results appear in your audit history.
4
Manage your schedules
View all active schedules in the Scheduled panel. You can pause, resume, or delete schedules at any time.
Tracking

Monitoring Score Changes

Each scheduled audit creates a new entry in your audit history. Compare scores over time to see trends across all five AURA dimensions: Crawlability, Authority, Content Quality, Answerability, and Extractability. If your score drops unexpectedly, the audit report will highlight what changed -- whether it's a technical issue, content change, or authority shift. This makes it easy to diagnose problems and take action quickly.

Best Practices

Managing Your Schedules

speed Start with weekly audits during active optimization. When you're actively making changes to improve your AURA score, weekly monitoring gives you fast feedback on what's working.
calendar_month Choose your day wisely. Pick a consistent day of the month (e.g., the 1st or 15th) so you can easily compare month-over-month trends.
pause_circle Pause schedules during major site redesigns. If you're rebuilding your site, pause the schedule to avoid auditing incomplete pages. Resume once the new site is live.
notifications Check your dashboard regularly for score alerts. Scheduled audits surface trends automatically, but reviewing your dashboard helps you spot patterns and prioritize improvements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Scheduled audits run once per month on a day you choose (1-28). This is the only frequency available. Each scheduled audit uses one audit credit from your monthly quota.

Do scheduled audits count against my quota?

Yes, each scheduled audit uses one audit credit from your monthly quota, just like a manual audit. Plan your schedule frequency based on your available credits.

Can I pause a scheduled audit?

Yes, you can pause any scheduled audit from your dashboard without deleting it. When you're ready to resume, simply reactivate the schedule and it picks up from where it left off.
