Taking Action

Your Improvement Roadmap

A prioritized action plan showing exactly what to fix and how much each change could improve your AURA score.

Overview

What is the Improvement Roadmap?

Every AURA audit generates a prioritized list of recommended improvements. Each recommendation includes what to change, which dimension it affects, and an estimated score impact. Items are sorted by potential impact so you can focus on the highest-value changes first.

Think of it as your personalized to-do list for AI search optimization. Instead of guessing what matters most, the roadmap tells you exactly where to spend your time for the biggest score improvements.

Step by Step

Where to Find It

The Improvement Roadmap is included with every Pro and Agency audit. Here is how to access it.

  1. Run a Pro or Agency audit
The Improvement Roadmap requires the full five-dimension analysis available on Pro and Agency plans. Start an audit from your dashboard or the homepage.
  2. Open your audit report
Once the audit completes, click into the full report from your History tab or directly from the results view.
  3. Find the Improvement Roadmap below the AI Summary
The roadmap appears as a list of cards below the AI Summary section. Each card shows the recommendation, affected dimension (color-coded), estimated score improvement, and estimated timeline.
  4. Work through items by priority
Items are already sorted by estimated impact. Start at the top and work your way down. The highest-impact changes are listed first.
Score Estimates

Understanding Score Estimates

Each recommendation shows an estimated score increase (e.g., "+5 to +10 points"). These are calibrated estimates per dimension and impact level. Actual impact depends on your specific site architecture and content.

Use these estimates as a prioritization guide rather than exact predictions. A recommendation showing "+8 to +12 points" should generally be tackled before one showing "+2 to +4 points," but the precise outcome will vary depending on your site's unique characteristics.

Export Options

  • code Internal PDF — The Internal PDF includes additional technical details alongside the roadmap. Best for your team's implementation planning.
  • priority_high Prioritize by impact — Whether exporting or working through items in the dashboard, always prioritize by estimated impact to maximize ROI on development time.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How accurate are the score estimates? expand_more
Score estimates are based on how similar changes have affected other sites audited by AIVerdict. They provide a useful range (e.g., "+5 to +10 points") but actual impact depends on your specific site architecture, content, and current score. Use them as a prioritization guide rather than exact predictions.
  • Does the roadmap update when I re-audit? expand_more
Yes. Each audit generates a fresh roadmap based on your site's current state. If you have implemented recommendations from a previous audit, those items will no longer appear, and new priorities may surface based on the updated analysis.
  • Can I export the roadmap to share with my team? expand_more
Yes. You can export the roadmap as a CSV file for spreadsheet workflows, or include it in Client PDF and Internal PDF exports. The CSV export is ideal for importing into project management tools or sharing with developers.
