Terms of Service

The rules and conditions governing your use of the AIVerdict platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AIVerdict website at aiverdict.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

AIVerdict is an AI search optimization auditing platform that analyzes websites across multiple scoring dimensions and generates actionable reports. The Service includes:

  • Website auditing and scoring across Crawlability, Content Quality, Authority, Answerability, and Extractability
  • PDF report generation and export
  • Audit history, trend analytics, and scheduled monitoring
  • Website group management (on applicable plans)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Accounts and Registration

Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Plan. AIVerdict offers a free tier with limited functionality. Free audits assess a subset of scoring dimensions and do not include AI-powered semantic analysis.

Paid Plans. Pro and Agency plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.

Free Trial. Paid plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Usage Limits. Each plan has monthly audit limits. If you exceed your plan's limit, additional audits may be restricted until the next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Audit websites you do not own or have authorization to audit, for the purpose of causing harm to those websites or their owners
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or security measures
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product or service
  • Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code through the Service
  • Overload the Service with automated requests beyond normal usage patterns
  • Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.

6. Website Auditing

When you submit a URL for audit, AIVerdict crawls the publicly accessible pages of that website, similar to how search engines and AI systems operate. By using the Service, you represent that:

  • You have the right to audit the submitted URL (e.g. you own the website, manage it on behalf of a client, or are conducting legitimate research)
  • You understand that auditing involves automated crawling of publicly accessible web pages
  • You acknowledge that audit results are informational and do not constitute professional SEO, legal, or business advice

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content. The AIVerdict platform, including its design, code, scoring algorithms, reports, and documentation, is owned by AIVerdict and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

Your Data. You retain ownership of the URLs you submit and any data you provide. By using the Service, you grant AIVerdict a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

Reports. Audit reports generated by AIVerdict are provided for your use. You may share reports with clients or colleagues. White-label PDF reports are available on applicable plans.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Audit results will be accurate, complete, or up-to-date at all times
  • Improvements suggested by the Service will result in better AI search visibility
  • Third-party data sources used in audits will always be available

Audit scores and recommendations are generated using automated analysis and AI models. They are intended as guidance and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIVerdict and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to AIVerdict in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AIVerdict and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content or data you submit through the Service

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
